Aren't you just sick and tired of dynamic clothes and sheets falling through the floor?
I know i was!
The reason is pretty simple for a modeler.
Ill try to explain.
A 3D model consist of multiple things.
Lets just take a square plane as an example.
First up is the dots, called vertices. We have 4 of these.
Then there are the lines connecting the dots, called edges. We also have 4 of these.
Then to fill the square of dots and edges, we have a plane called a face. We have 1 of these.
Now, for some reason, DAZ cant see the faces we fill the models with.
There for, the bigger the gap between vertices and edges there are, the bigger change the clothes or sheets will fall through it.
This disk I've made, is simply a very high poly disk, with the vertices and edges placed very close together.
Its not quite as simple as that, but this way everyone can understand.
Why am i telling you this?
Well, there is a little warning with it, don't try re-scale the disk, as it will loose its structural integrity and functionality.
When you have draped your dynamics, simply hide the disk in your scene fan.
Anyway, here is the installation guide:
You need the Daz Studio Pro 4,6 or above.
1.: Click the "Download File" button over to the right --->
2.: Unpack it to your desktop.
3.: Copy everything inside the folder "Content"
4.: Past it inside your own "Content" normally located here: "C:/Users/username/Documents/DAZ 3DStudio/Content"
5.: Accept the windows popup of permission to overwrite existing folders.
6.: Start Daz3D
7.: Navigate to: DAZ Studio Formats > My Library > Props > Decan > Daz Tools >
8.: Your ready to go...
If you should experience any problems,
don't hesitate to contact me on my deviantart page: www.Decan.Dk
NOTE: Re-size the disk at own risk, as it will loose its functionality.
